Domain registration fees are non-refundable once a domain has actually been registered with the registry. This isn't a RedCloud policy choice — it reflects how domain registries and ICANN rules work industry-wide: once a domain is registered, that registration fee has already been paid onward and can't be recovered. If a registration fails on our end before it reaches the registry, you'll be refunded in full automatically.
Hosting and mailbox charges as part of a plan are billed annually alongside your domain. If you cancel within 7 days of your initial purchase and before meaningful use of the hosting or mailboxes (for example, before your site or inbox has gone live), we'll refund the hosting and email portion of your payment — the domain registration fee itself follows Section 1 above. After that window, plans aren't refunded for the remainder of the billing year, but you can cancel auto-renewal at any time so you're not charged again next year.
You can turn off auto-renewal for your domain and plan at any time from your dashboard. Turning off auto-renewal doesn't refund the current billing period — it only stops the next one from being charged. If auto-renewal is off and your domain's registration lapses, standard registry grace-period and redemption rules apply, which are outside RedCloud's control once a domain has expired.
If you're charged twice for the same order, or a payment fails but funds are still deducted by your bank or payment app, contact us with your order details and we'll investigate and refund any genuine duplicate or failed charge, typically within 7–10 business days depending on your bank/payment provider's own processing time.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via PayU or Razorpay (whichever processed the original payment) — we don't issue refunds by any other method.
To request a refund or cancellation, email account@redcloud.co.in with your order details, or raise a ticket from your dashboard's support page.
